Muay Thai phenom Rodtang Jitmuangnon got a chance to meet Hollywood legend Chris Hemsworth yesterday after the Thai star shared a video to social media.

Rodtang and Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, best known for playing Thor in Marvel films struck up an unlikely friendship on social media several years ago, but until yesterday, they had yet to meet in person.

Chris Hemsworth is shooting a trilogy to Netflix’s Extraction film series in Thailand, currently with Extraction 3, with the action thriller expected to premiere in late 2027.

Rodtang returns to the ONE Championship circle on November 13 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium against fellow Thai legend and Nak Muay veteran Nong-O Hama as the opening round of the 2026 ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix begins.

Rodtang’s last outing saw the Thai star lose to kickboxing megastar Takeru at ONE Samurai 1 in Tokyo, Japan.
