Conor McGregor became the first two-division champion in Cage Warriors Fighting Championship history when he stopped Ivan Buchinger in the opening round of their lightweight title fight at Cage Warriors 51.

Already the promotion’s featherweight champion, the Irish prospect combined fast hands with an unorthodox striking style and had collected all 12 of his professional victories by stoppage at this point — 11 knockouts and one submission — including a four-second knockout of Paddy Doherty.
