Sean Strickland vs. Nassourdine Imavov 2 “Close To Being Signed”

Sean Strickland’s contract issues might finally be sorted out. As per a report by Mike Bohn, the current and two-time UFC middleweight champion will return to the octagon in February to run it back with Nassourdine Imavov.

Check out the post below:

“The Sniper” lost to Strickland by unanimous decision in 2023. Since then, he has worked his way back to the top of the division with a five-fight winning streak and has waited long enough for a title shot, which was delayed due to his relationship with former 185-pound champion Khamzat Chimaev.

There is even more bad blood between Strickland and Imavov this time around following the former’s comments about the latter and the Muslim community. Imavov will now be looking not only to dethrone Strickland but also to make him pay for his trash talk.

UFC Sydney 2027 Main Event Is Official

Australian knockout artist Quillan Salkilld who remains undefeated in the UFC and is riding a six-fight winning streak with victories over Mateusz Gamrot, Beneil Dariush, and Anshul Jubli, among others, will return to the octagon next year at UFC Sydney on February 6. He will take on Benoit Saint Denis in front of his home crowd.

Saint Denis’ four-fight winning streak came to an end earlier this year when Paddy Pimblett submitted him in just 52 seconds at UFC 329.

However, beating a young gun like Salkilld could put him back in the title conversation.

On the other hand, if Salkilld beats “God of War,” there’s a solid chance the 26-year-old earns a lightweight title shot or a No. 1 contender fight in his next outing.
